The Process Evolution & Innovation team works collaboratively across the organization evolving business processes, assessing business requirements and delivering solutions through the lens of continuous improvement methodologies. By evaluating the alignment of business processes to business objectives, the team supports the organization through continuous improvement and establishes performance metrics. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented & solution focused individual capable of high impact to assist us in achieving maximum efficiency and strong organizational alignment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Working as a strategic resource and support to the Authority, you will guide the engagement of key stakeholders in continuous improvement initiatives. You will gather, analyze, document, provide recommendations and implement initiatives across the enterprise. Through analyzing and interpreting data related to business requirements, you will help identify functional process workflows, lead requirements meetings and working sessions focused on improvement, and uncover resourcing needs.
In addition, you will:
•Perform a range of requirements elicitation, documentation, and management duties through all phases of an initiative, from conception through execution.
•Assist teams in developing Lean roadmaps to use in the deployment of continuous improvement initiatives.
•Provide initiative support, specific to the tracking and reporting of requirements elicitation, documentation, and management activities; manage complex requirements.
•Track and report on initiative progress; help to identify solutions for initiatives that are experiencing requirement challenges.
•Act as the lead for large strategic continuous improvement initiatives and execute on all aspects of smaller sized initiatives over the entire initiative life cycle.
•Manage and coordinate other initiative resources.
WHAT YOU BRING
•7-10+years of progressive project/initiative experience
•Post-Secondary education or training in Business Administration or a combination of education, training and/or professional development activities
•CBAP designation is preferred
•Certifications from accredited organizations or higher educational institution demonstrating competency in Lean process improvement, such as a Six Sigma Certification preferred
•Financial experience or strong business acumen considered an asset
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
•Data driven; ability to decipher and translate data to initiatives.
•Superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively present and gather information.
•Ability to build trust, work collaboratively, and influence decisions.
•Successful completion of multiple process improvement projects within the last five years (minimum three) including practical application of lean practices/principles.
•Ability to consistently exercise good judgment in complex situations.
•Capable of remaining calm and focused under pressure, a stabilizing influence on the organization.
•Strong analytical and conceptual skills for identifying and addressing real and potential opportunities/threats.
