We’re in the business of uplifting people, and every day, we create runways to new places and possibilities, building a better airport experience for everyone.
WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
The Environment & Sustainability team is dedicated to protecting Calgary’s natural resources and minimizing our airports’ ecological footprint. Guided by our Sustainability Strategy, we promote social equity, robust governance, and environmental stewardship throughout our community. Our energetic and close-knit team collaborates across departments and with external partners to integrate sustainability considerations into all aspects of airport operations, major projects, and campus development. - Permitting & Approvals: Oversee environmental permits, approvals, and regulatory submissions by working with internal teams, tenants, and regulators to integrate requirements into projects and operations.
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS): Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System, including audits, corrective actions, and compliance documentation.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation: Coordinate environmental monitoring programs and prepare accurate regulatory reports, compliance summaries, and records to support reporting, decision‑making, and audit readiness.
- Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement: Act as a key point of contact with regulatory agencies, tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support inspections, inquiries, and compliance communications.
