WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
Our Warehouse Team keeps operations at Calgary Airport moving, literally. We’re the crew behind the scenes lifting, sorting, shipping, and finding quick solutions to keep everything flowing smoothly from day to day. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on environment where teamwork, communication, and flexibility are essential. Every day brings something different, whether it’s managing high‑volume shipments, coordinating with other departments, or tackling unexpected challenges. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
- Organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts—if certified).
- Complete cycle counts and assists with regular inventory audits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING
- To qualify for a Summer Student position, you must be enrolled related to supply chain, logistics, warehousing, business, or a related field is an asset and must be returning to your studies after completing the summer work term and provide documentation confirming your continued enrollment.
- You’ll need to be eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC, don’t worry – we’ll help you through this! For more details, check out: RAIC Program and Application Information .
- As this position is considered safety-sensitive, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment of drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
- This role includes driving as part of its duties; therefore, candidates will be required to provide a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a current driver’s abstract as part of the hiring process.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Forklift or equipment operation certification.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or Oracle ERP.
- Knowledge of shipping platforms (Purolator, FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills for fastmoving operational challenges.
