WHY CALGARY AIRPORTS
Powered by heart and dedicated to excellence, we’re the team that keeps Calgary connected – and you could be our newest member.
We’re in the business of uplifting people, and every day, we create runways to new places and possibilities, building a better airport experience for everyone.
WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
The Airside Operations team is a close‑knit, hands‑on group that plays a critical role in keeping YYC’s airfield safe, operational, and ready for aircraft movements always. Their work matters because well‑maintained runways, taxiways, aprons, and roadways are essential to safe and efficient airport operations, especially during winter conditions. As a student, you’ll work alongside experienced operators, learn how large‑scale airfield maintenance is performed, and gain exposure to specialized airport equipment in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment. The team takes pride in supporting safe travel and keeping the airport moving for the community it serves.

- Perform surface repairs on asphalt, concrete, and gravel roadways to help ensure smooth, safe travel conditions.
