OUR TEAM
The Accounting & Finance Team provides oversight, direction, and support in all aspects of accounting at The Calgary Airport Authority. This team works closely and collaboratively with both internal and external partners in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Accounting and Finance, you would work closely with team members to provide support in the following areas: filing, processing account transactions, account reconciliations as well as special projects. This role provides you the opportunity to gain work experience in the following areas: general accounting, exposure to financial reporting environment and accounting ERP system.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist with AR and AP invoicing and disbursements
- Assist with month-end closings and reconciliations
- Assist with the capital asset cycle and/or capital program
- Work process analysis and documentation
- Filing and special projects, as applicable
WHAT YOU BRING
- Pursuing a post-secondary educations in either Bachelors of Commerce or Business Administration or related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Proactive problem solver with the desire and ability to achieve results
- Detail-oriented, resourceful and enthusiastic
- A passion for building and maintaining good working relationships
WHAT ELSE?
- To qualify as a co-op or internship student, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program where a work term is a formal requirement of the program and provide documentation to that effect.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a restricted area identification card (RAIC).
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work model with a combination of in-office and remote work.
